Jessica completed the Registered Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August 2019. Her practice involves working with a variety of conditions, which includes but not limited to: pre- and post-natal, chronic pain, soft tissue injuries, sports related injuries, neurological conditions, and general day to day tension. By adopting a biopsychosocial approach, Jessica aims to provide patient-centered care for each individual who entrusts her with their wellness journey. This perspective places an emphasis on patients’ concerns and takes into consideration the different life stages an individual may be facing - which aids in tailoring a treatment plan.

Her time as an RMT has kept her continuously fascinated by the human body. This admiration in anatomy motivates her to pursue continuing education to further her understanding of how and why pain occurs. She is currently focused on advancing her knowledge on pre and post natal massage, high-risk pregnancies, chronic pain, and expanding her knowledge in pain science. As an active member of the Manual Movement Therapists Community led by Eric Purves, her aim is to be inclusive, open minded, evidence based, and to step away from the typical pain-causing narratives.

While out of the clinic, she is usually spending time with her family and friends, walking local trails with her dog, trying new board games, or busy in her garden.
